VFX SUPERVISOR (ANIMATION)

Job Description

• Establish animation workflows, lead the visual effects team, and planning and executing complex effects that enhance the animation's realism or fantasy elements.

• Collaborate with directors and CG teams to integrate VFX seamlessly into the final product.

• Responsibilities include approving effect designs, managing budgets, and troubleshooting technical issues during production.

• Ensures that effects meet artistic standards and deadlines, often using advanced software like Houdini or Nuke.

• They mentor junior artists and stay updated on industry trends to innovate effects techniques.

• A strong technical background combined with artistic vision is key to this role.

Requirements

• Proficiency in mainstream VFX software with at least 5 years of professional experience.

• Solid foundation in cinematic arts and visual aesthetics.

• Skilled in 3D production software and comprehensive understanding of film production pipelines.

• Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate competent management skills.

• Innovative thinking with strong independent problem-solving capabilities, able to accurately interpret and articulate client requirements.
