Executive Director (Animation)
Job Description
Manages multiple animation projects or the studio's overall creative strategy, providing high-level oversight and support to individual directors.
Ensure that all projects align with the studio's brand, budget constraints, and market trends.
This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and fostering innovation across teams.
The Executive Director often liaises with external partners, such as clients or distributors, to secure funding and collaborations.
They review progress reports, mentor junior staff, and implement policies to enhance creative output.
A blend of business acumen and artistic expertise is crucial for navigating the complexities of studio management.
Requirements
College degree or above, preferably in animation or related field.
3+ years of experience in the animation industry, with preference for those who have directed or been involved in the pre-production of complete animaion projects.
Skilled in 3D animation software and tools, with strong command of animation principles; keen aesthetic sense and modeling skills; excellent visual expression abilities and cinematography expertise; capable of managing overall film rhythm, music, and color.
High sense of responsibility, passionate about creation, willing to take on challenges, and strong team management and execution skills.
Genuine enthusiasm for animation creation.
