The Director, Global Sales & Partnerships is responsible for owning and scaling AHAVERSE’s international commercial partnerships across content distribution, licensing, and strategic collaborations.
This role serves as the internal commercial lead, working closely with external sales agents, platforms, and internal Marketing, IP, and Legal teams to ensure deal quality, consistency, and long-term value creation.
While outbound sales and pitching will often be executed by regional sales agents, this role will also lead selective, high-impact outbound efforts for priority partners, key accounts, and strategic opportunities where direct IP-owner involvement materially increases success.

Ensure alignment between sales execution, brand positioning, and IP strategy
Sales Agent Management & Coordination
Appoint, manage, and evaluate regional sales agents and master licensees
Set clear scopes, KPIs, and expectations for agent-led outbound activity

Rights scope
Territory
Windowing
Financial structures
Ensure consistency and fairness of deal terms across regions
Work closely with Legal and Finance to finalize agreements
Post-Deal Relationship Management
Own senior-level relationships with platforms and key partners post-close
Drive renewals, upsells, and expanded collaboration opportunities
Ensure smooth handover from deal close to execution and activation
Internal Alignment & Commercial Operations
Serve as the bridge between Sales, Marketing, IP, Legal, and Operations
Ensure sales activities align with:
Release cadence
Brand tone
Marketing plans
Maintain centralized visibility over pipelines, contracts, and partner status
Success Metrics
Deal close rate and time-to-close
Quality and consistency of commercial terms
Renewal and expansion rates with partners
Sales agent effectiveness and accountability
Strategic platform coverage and relationship depth
Reduction in internal friction and deal misalignment
Qualifications & Experience
8–12+ years in international sales, partnerships, distribution, or licensing
Experience working with sales agents, distributors, or master licensees
Proven ability to negotiate complex, multi-territory deals
Strong understanding of content, IP, or entertainment ecosystems
Comfortable balancing hands-on deal work with strategic oversight
Excellent cross-functional communication skills
Why This Role Matters
As AHAVERSE expands globally, success depends not only on reaching more partners, but on owning relationships, protecting IP value, and ensuring commercial coherence at scale.
This role ensures that agent-led execution, direct outbound efforts, and internal strategy work together as a single, effective system.
